You used to be able to discover some cool blogs and websites and a small site could get a big promotion boost. Now it's gotten so much harder unless you're a big site. That's the problem. BBC and CNN don't need digg to advertise their news. I dont see the point in digging a story that millions of people are going to see anyway. I did a post recently on the way that web 2.0 is going.
