It seems that there is a concrete date from when we’ll actually get our hands on the iPad here in the UK; May 28th seems to be the date to put in our diaries. We have already spent weeks now listening to the buzz about this device coming from across the water but now we finally get to experience the thing for ourselves. The Americans certainly seem to have warmly received this latest treat from Apple and it is highly likely that the same will happen here. In fact so successful has it been already that it reached a million sales twice as quickly as the iPhone did when it was released. As well as being released in the UK the iPad will also be released in Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Switzerland.
The response to the release of the iPad in the US has taking even the staunchest Apple devotee by surprise. Who could have predicted that it would do so well? This device seems to offer just so many versatile applications; watch movies, read eBooks, play games, and surf to your heart’s content. The original concern about the fact that it won’t be supporting Flash seems to have quietened down; at least as far as the consumer is concerned. In fact finding a negative review of the iPad is quite difficult.
There is likely going to be a huge scramble to get the iPad on the 28th of May and a lot of people are going to be disappointed. It is going to take months before you will be able to just walk into a shop and just pick one up off the shelf. If you want to be one of the first owners make sure you get your name down fast.
